Your brand, our bench and batch.

White-label and co-development programmes for vets, retailers, co-operatives and producer groups — evidence-led formulation, optional clinical trials, and UK GMP manufacture, delivered under your name and built as a supply relationship, not a transaction.

Plenty of organisations have what a supplement brand needs most — trust and a route to the animal. A veterinary group whose clients act on its word; a retailer whose shelf is a recommendation; a co-operative that feeds half a county's herds; a founder with an audience and a gap to fill. What they usually lack is the other half: formulation science, evidence generation, regulatory discipline and manufacturing. Natural Science Group's partnership programmes supply that half. We are the science and production layer; the brand, the relationship and the margin are yours.

Two ways to work with us

White-label is the faster path: products built on our existing formulation library — the same evidence-led recipes behind our own brands — labelled and packaged for your name. It suits partners who want a credible range without a development programme: a practice's own joint and calming line, a retailer's private-label range, a feed merchant's supplement shelf.

Co-development starts from a brief instead of a library. Your market knowledge defines the problem; our formulation practice builds the product; and where the claim justifies it, our trial capability generates the evidence under your name or jointly. It suits partners with a specific gap — a species, a condition category, a price point — and the patience to own something genuinely differentiated. Co-developed work can include jointly run trials, giving a partner data of their own rather than borrowed references.

Both paths end in the same place: UK GMP manufacture, full batch traceability, and an ongoing supply relationship with a named team.

The proof: a brand we built on this exact platform

We don't ask partners to take the platform on trust. AniVatio — the consumer brand NSG owns and built — runs on precisely the services this page sells: 3,600+ customer reviews behind its flagship joint range, a 44% reorder rate on its gut health gel, third-party verified probiotic survivability, every batch independently tested to ±5% of label, PetQuip and PIF award recognition, and retail from the UK to Chewy US. The full story, numbers and imagery are in the AniVatio case study.

Who our programmes are built for

What a programme includes

Every engagement draws on the full stack, scaled to the partner:

  1. Brief and evidence review — what the product must do, for which species, in which regulatory category, and what the published research supports.
  2. Formulation — from library or from scratch, including palatability and stability development.
  3. Claims and compliance — labels and marketing claims kept inside what evidence and regulation allow. Unsubstantiated claims are a liability we decline to manufacture, which is precisely why the products are recommendable.
  4. Evidence generation (optional) — a designed study behind your flagship claim.
  5. Manufacture and supply — UK production, batch documentation, and reorder logistics treated as part of the product.

Distribution experience spans the UK, EU and APAC through our own consumer brands — including AniVatio, our companion-animal brand — so the advice that comes with the product extends to the practicalities of actually selling it: formats that survive shipping, labels that work on shelf, ranges that make sense as a family rather than a pile of SKUs.

How an engagement starts

It starts small deliberately: a conversation about the gap you see, an honest read from us on whether the evidence supports a product there, and a scope you can evaluate. Partnership enquiries go straight to co-founder Lisa Hilton — the same person who leads the formulation practice, which keeps the promises made at the start connected to the science that has to keep them.

Frequently asked questions

Does Natural Science Group offer white-label animal supplement manufacturing?

Yes. White-label programmes put products from our evidence-led formulation library under a partner's brand, manufactured in the UK to GMP standard — for veterinary practices, retailers, equine businesses, agricultural groups and consumer brands.

What's the difference between white-label and co-development?

White-label brands our existing, proven formulations as yours — the faster route to a credible range. Co-development builds a new product to your brief, with our formulation and optional clinical-trial capability behind it — slower, but the result is differentiated and exclusively yours.

Which species and categories can a partner range cover?

Anything our four sectors span: dog and cat supplements, equine ranges, livestock premixes and programmes, and bespoke exotic-species work. Categories run from joint, gut, skin and calming products to production-focused agricultural nutrition.

Can NSG run a clinical trial for a partner's product?

Yes. Trial design and management is available inside co-development programmes — placebo-controlled studies with veterinary principal investigators, giving a partner evidence of their own rather than borrowed citations.

How do I start a partnership conversation?

Use the enquiry form with a few lines about your organisation, the animals you serve and the gap you want to fill — it goes straight to co-founder Lisa Hilton.
